Other Ways You Can Help Us

First and foremost:

You can help by remembering SEARCH in your prayers. "The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much." (James 5:16)

Second:

You can help by watching, listening to, or reading the program transcripts. The primary purpose for the existence of IN SEARCH OF THE LORD'S WAY is to provide programming and information that can be used to help convert the non-Christian and strengthen the faith of the Christian. Everything SEARCH does is intended to guide people to the Gospel of Christ and His way for mankind to live. "Therefore let us pursue the things which make for peace and the things by which one may edify another." (Rom. 14:19)

Third:

You can help by recommending the SEARCH program and materials to others. By telling your family and friends about our program, web-site, monthly newsletter, transcripts, tapes, and other services, you are helping spread the Good News of Christ. "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." (Mt. 28:19)

Fourth:

You can help financially. IN SEARCH OF THE LORD'S WAY is an IRS-recognized nonprofit 501(c) 3 corporation, which means the funds you contribute are eligible to be deducted on your tax return(s). There are numerous ways to give (for additional details, be sure to ask your tax consultant) "And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him." (Col. 3:17)

How You Can Give Financially

Monthly Contributions

By giving to the work on a regular, monthly basis, you help provide financial stability that allows SEARCH to better plan our annual budget. All requests for Bible correspondence courses, tapes, and transcripts are sent free of charge to those requesting this material. Monthly gifts make it possible for this ministry to continue the program.

General Contributions

While most of the financial support comes from people who prefer to give on a regular, monthly basis, or there are those who prefer to give on a somewhat irregular basis (e.g., bimonthly, quarterly, semi-annually, sporadically, etc.). These types of gifts certainly are appreciated, as they permit SEARCH to carry out special projects and improvements.

Annual Contributions

Some people choose to support the ministry in a lump-sum fashion at the end or beginning of the year. All contributions to IN SEARCH OF THE LORD'S WAY are tax deductible.

Stocks and Bonds

If someone told you that you could reap double the tax benefits through charitable contributions, would you believe it? It's true! You can do this by donating some of your investments, as opposed to cash. As an example, suppose you purchased stock for $3,000 several years ago, and it has increased in value so that it now is worth $10,000. If you were in a 28% federal tax bracket, sold your stock, and qualified for the 20% capital gains rate, you would owe $1,400 in taxes. If you donated that same stock to IN SEARCH OF THE LORD'S WAY, you would be eligible the tax deduction for the full $10,000 market value. That would save $2,800 in taxes. If you then added the $1,400 you avoided in capital gains tax, your total tax savings would be $4,200.

By Remembering SEARCH in Your Will

The ministry understands that this is a sensitive subject for some, but it is still one that we would like you to consider. By including IN SEARCH OF THE LORD'S WAY in your will, it one day may be said of you, as it was of Abel, that you, "being dead, yet speaketh." (Hebrews 11:4)
